Luna

Luna really surprised me these past few days. Last week, I noticed she broke her collar. I've been leaving her at work/Doña Ana's house in their 3rd floor unfinished room. They'd tied her leash to some wire, and when I came back Thursday, her collar was broken. I was able to ghetto rig it back for the time being, but I knew I'd need to buy another collar soon. So on Sunday, I went to Hiper Pais and bought a collar, and a choke collar, only to find out the collar I bought is too big/ Also she had broken her leash! How does a dog break a leash that shouldnt be able to be ripped? So I had to use the choke collar, with a rope. The reason you get a choke collar is to teach your dog to walk WITH you, instead of ahead of you pulling you along. It doesn't work to well. I don't think Luna responded to well to the choke collar. She was still pulling me along, and my hands hurt from using a rope instead of a leash. Last night, she really scared me. Calin and I went to visit his newest client and we tied luna's rope to the window. Later we found out she decided to poop right in front of the front door. Calin untied her and tied the rope to a tow hitch on a pickup out front. After we finished there an hour later, we came out and found the rope and ONLY the rope. Well, a little piece of the chain from the choke collar. After looking around a bit more, we found the rest of the chain on the ground. But where was Luna? We called her over and over again. The lady said someone might have stolen her. People steal good dogs out here that aren't taken care of in this country. It's doubtful because most people know me and my dog. Calin called Luna, and she came trotting up to him out of nowhere.

Thankfully she was unharmed, and I was in shock. I didn't know whether to be mad at her or not. She broke her collar, leash, and a choke collar in 4 consecutive days. WOW. And she responded to Calin and not me. What about me???????? That's good, she doesn't even respond to her owner.
