not too happy being in PC again

So on September 7 I called Sabrina, my boss´s secretary, at the PC office in Guate. I asked her if I could take a month of vacation. My grandmother is ill, and tickets are expensive to India. I need to purchase my ticket sooner than later because tickets are getting sold out. She said it wouldn´t be a problem; I had 23 days of vacation and I could take 7 days of leave without pay. Vaya.

Pilar, my boss, just called me today, and said I couldn´t take the days. Today is the 18th. They waited 11 days to tell me that? Tickets are already bought. I asked her how can we make this happen, and she said she´ll call me back. I don't blame her; it´s not her fault. This new guy here plays too much by the rules. Let´s see what happens...
