I FOUND OUT MY SITE!

After our last session of Empresarios Juveniles in Sololá, we returned to the training center to find out our sites. The business trainers Carlos (Adults) and Bety (Youth) drew out a map of Guatemala on the basketball court and made us close our eyes. Then they took us out one by one (with our eyes closed) to a spot on the map and gave us our packet. When we opened our eyes, we could see where we were in relationship to everyone else. My site is Oratorio, Santa Rosa. Basically it is in the southeast part of the country. Google it and see if you can see it on a map. I´ll be working with a Savings and Loan Cooperative called La Sagrada Familia there. The closest one from our group to me is Derick, and he´ll be in Las Lisas, Santa Rosa where we had the field based training. Next week we´ll go to our sites on Tuesday - Saturday, and I can tell y´all more about it afterwards. I´ll keep y´all posted!
