July 4 Party!

This Saturday, July 2, our ambassador hosted a party for all the volunteers. Volunteers from all over the country came to the party. It was a great chance to meet many of them. What sucked was, we had to pay 50 Q to get in. This included the food, but beer and drinks were extra. The good part was, we had a one time through buffet of typical barbecue food - hot dogs, hamburgers, salad, brownies. Man it felt so good to eat hot dogs and hamburgers again, and remember I´ve only been here for 2 months! Anyways, I made some new friends with some volunteers who are already serving. Also, there was a talent show contest and a Lip Sync contest. Unfortunately, the judges (volunteers) were so drunk they couldn´t judge it properly. And of course, almost everyone went to Antigua afterwards and partied up a storm. :)
